Geumho 1ga-dong Oksu Hill Alley Village Old Seoul

A hillside neighborhood in Seongdong that preserves the alley culture and physical scale of old Seoul in the 1970s. The lanes are too narrow for cars and lined with low brick homes with iron gates. Long-term residents sit outside on plastic chairs in summer evenings. The hill position gives river views from certain alley bends. The area is targeted for redevelopment and may disappear within a decade.
