Gwanggyo Lake Park

Gyeonggi Province's most ambitious urban park, built on a drained reservoir basin as the centrepiece of Gwanggyo New Town. Two interconnected lakes — Woncheonhosu and Singidaeho — are linked by a soaring pedestrian bridge, with a 5.1km waterside circuit popular for cycling, morning walks, and cherry blossom strolls in April. The adjacent Gyeonggi Provincial Government complex and Galleria Department Store create a rare combination of nature, government, and retail within a five-minute walk. Weekends draw large but manageable crowds from across southern Gyeonggi.
