The streets around Jukjeon Station (Bundang Line terminus) retain the pre-development character of old Suji-gu — tightly packed dosirak restaurants, pojangmacha carts, and small-scale produce vendors serving long-term residents who predate the new town boom. Lunch sets under ₩10,000 alongside workers from the surrounding light industrial estates give an honest look at the Suji-gu that existed before the Galleria arrived. The contrast with Gwanggyo, a 10-minute drive away, is startling.
