Gyeonggi Anyang Public Art Project Trails (안양 공공예술 프로젝트 트레일)

📍 Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do

Anyang Stream in Anyang-si is the site of the Anyang Public Art Project, initiated in 2005, which has installed permanent art works by over 50 internationally recognized artists along the 4-kilometre stream corridor through the Anyang valley. The works include large-scale architectural interventions, landscape pieces, and sculptural installations that have been maintained in the stream environment through successive decades. The combination of the stream gorge walk and the density of publicly accessible contemporary art gives the trail a completeness that most Korean public art projects lack. The approach from the Anyang Yenaejongteo (Old Art Street) through the mountain valley to the valley terminus is about two hours.
