Jebudo is a tidal island off the coast of Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, accessible by a 2.3-kilometre causeway that is covered at high tide and exposed for six hours at low tide — the so-called Moses Miracle road. The causeway schedule changes daily with the tide; the walk across the exposed tidal flat to the island and back requires checking the schedule. The island holds cliffs, a lighthouse, and the Jebudo Art Park with outdoor sculptures and a seafood market. The combination of the tidal crossing, the Yellow Sea coastal scenery, and the accessibility from Seoul by car in about one hour makes it a consistently visited day trip. The sunset from the western cliff on a clear day is the primary draw.
