The wide tree-lined streets around Jangchung Arena and Jangchungdan Park are some of the most underrated walking territory in central Seoul — the park has a small pagoda and views toward Namsan, retaining a low-rise 1970s character almost entirely absent of tourist infrastructure. Combine with the jokbal alley to the north: walk the park in the late afternoon and eat in the evening.
