The oldest LGBTQ+ district in Korea runs through a narrow lane off Jongno 3-ga station exit 4. Bars and clubs have operated here since the 1970s — far longer than Itaewon's more visible scene. The atmosphere is low-key and local: small venues, regulars who've been coming for years, no bouncers or door charges at most places. Unlike Seoul's other nightlife districts, this one still feels like it belongs to the neighborhood.
