Maebongsan Mountain Summit Trail (매봉산 정상 산책)

Maebongsan is a small urban mountain in Gangnam-gu that rises sharply from the surrounding apartment grid to give elevated views over Gangnam, the Han River, and the southern expressway corridor. The summit trail from the Dogok-dong side takes about twenty minutes and passes through a forested corridor that completely isolates you from the streets below. The mountain is used daily by the local residential population for morning exercise and sees almost no visitor traffic. The summit observation area faces directly toward the Namsan ridge to the north, with Lotte Tower and the eastern Seoul skyline visible to the right.
