Mangwon Hangang Park (망원한강공원)

The Mangwon section of Han River Park is favored by the Mapo-gu residential community and has a more local feel than the Yeouido or Ttukseom sections. The riverside lawn fills with picnickers on weekends — the local convenience stores stock accordingly — and the cycling path runs uninterrupted along the water for kilometers in both directions. The view across the river to the Mapo Bridge and beyond is straightforward and peaceful.
