The Mangwon section of the Han River park is significantly less crowded than the Banpo and Ttukseom sections that dominate Seoul travel content. Local residents use it for cycling, picnics, and weekend grilling rather than as a tourist attraction. The grilling areas are genuinely functional — you can bring your own supplies or buy from the vendors at the park entrance. In the evening, the section near the river becomes a quiet spot for groups of friends and couples that does not attract the same scale of visitors as the more photographed riverside locations.
