The pedestrian street running through Myeongdong's commercial core becomes one of Seoul's densest street food corridors after 6 p.m. Egg bread, tornado potatoes, giant skewers, hotteok stuffed with brown sugar and nuts, and lobster tails on sticks from vendors who've operated the same carts for years. The food quality holds up despite the tourist volume — vendors compete hard on a street this crowded. Best on a cold evening when the heat from the griddles actually helps.
