Naegok Stream Valley Walk (내곡천 계곡 산책)

The Naegok stream in the southern reaches of Seocho-gu flows from the Umyeonsan foothills through a narrow valley that has retained a semi-rural character despite the apartment development on the surrounding slopes. The stream path passes through an area of small nurseries, weekend farms, and older low-rise housing that predates the area's incorporation into the Seoul metropolitan zone. The combination of the mountain backdrop, the stream, and the unusual mixed land use makes the valley feel considerably more remote than its location within the city boundary suggests. The walk connects to the Yangjae trail network to the north.
