Paju Heyri Art Valley Artist Commune

📍 Paju, Gyeonggi-do

A planned community of 380 artist studios, galleries, museums, and bookstores built on former farmland near the DMZ. Every building was designed by its resident artist and the diversity of architectural styles creates an open-air architecture exhibition. The book city nearby holds the largest concentration of publishers and book-themed cafes in Korea. Both areas are best visited on weekdays when less crowded.
