Lotte Giants baseball games at Sajik Stadium are genuinely electric — Busan fans are considered the most passionate in Korean baseball, and the atmosphere rivals any professional sport stadium in East Asia. But the neighborhood surrounding the stadium on game nights is what makes it special: vendors selling homemade chicken skewers and fish cake soup from carts that have operated here for 30 years, fried rice restaurants with communal seating that fill up two hours before first pitch, and the ritual of bringing your own fried chicken (chimaek) through the gates — prohibited at most Korean stadiums but permitted here. Game tickets cost 7,000-15,000 KRW and are often available at the gate. The KBO season runs April through October. Subway: Sajik Station (Line 3), directly connected to the stadium.
