Samsung Seoul Hospital Cherry Blossom Walk (삼성서울병원 벚꽃길)
The campus road running through Samsung Seoul Hospital in Irwon-dong is lined with mature cherry trees that bloom in late March and early April — the timing is slightly later than the main Seoul blossom zones due to the elevation and the hospital campus microclimate. The blossom walk is used by patients, staff, and local residents and receives a fraction of the foot traffic of the Yeouido and Seokchon Lake circuits. The surrounding Irwon-dong neighbourhood has several good independent restaurants and cafes that operate for the hospital community and the adjacent SNU Children's Hospital staff. Out of blossom season, the campus road is a quiet green corridor in an otherwise dense urban area.
