Seocho Yangjae Citizens Forest (서초 양재 시민의 숲)
Yangjae Citizens Forest in Seocho-gu is the primary formal green space of southern Seoul — a 247,000-square-metre planned forest park adjacent to the Yangjae IC that functions as the main outdoor leisure area for the Gangnam residential and office population. The spring cherry blossom avenue through the main forest axis is one of the more accessible Seoul blossom walks due to the flat terrain and the subway accessibility. The adjacent Maeyeongsan mountain above Yangjae provides the harder mountain option; the flat forest is used daily by thousands of residents from the surrounding apartment districts. The park connects to the Tandong stream cycling path toward the Han River.
