One of Seoul's most overlooked neighborhoods — a hillside district of walled mansions, foreign embassy residences, independent art galleries, and historic literary homes. The Seongbuk Museum of Art (134 Seongbuk-ro) is free and worth 45 minutes. Barely any foreign tourists; best explored on foot on a weekday morning.
