Seongsu built its identity as Seoul's shoe-manufacturing district long before the cafés arrived. The blocks around Seongsuil-ro still house family-run cobblers and custom-order workshops beside the new creative studios. A few ateliers accept walk-in commissions for hand-stitched leather goods — allow 2–3 weeks for pickup.
