A concentrated stretch of independent specialty roasters and filter coffee bars that built up in Seongsu before the neighbourhood's broader commercial transformation. Several roast on-site; the smell of fresh roasting is detectable from the street and functions as a reliable guide to the best-quality operations. The standard here is high enough that the coffee program is often better than what you find in purpose-built specialty districts. Most close by 8 p.m. and don't take reservations.
