The Suseo Arboretum and Ecological Garden in the southeastern corner of Gangnam-gu maintains a collection of native Korean plant species across themed garden sections covering woodland, meadow, and wetland habitats. The garden is free to enter and sees minimal visitor numbers compared to the main Seoul botanic parks. The wildflower meadow section in the eastern zone peaks in late May and September; the woodland path through the arboretum is particularly good in autumn colour. The surrounding Suseo residential district has very little tourist infrastructure, making this a genuinely local outdoor space.
