Nari Park in Yangju, Gyeonggi-do, operates seasonal flower programmes — the cosmos fields in autumn (September-October) and the sunflower and lavender plantings in summer — that make it one of the most visited flower-viewing parks in the northern Gyeonggi area. The park is part of the broader Yangju Arboretum complex. The surrounding Yangju area holds the Okjeong Lake Park and the Yangju Haengjusanseong Fortress in the mountains of the southern county. The cosmos field in mid-September — covering several hectares with pink and white flowers — is accessible from Seoul by bus in about 60 minutes.
