Seoul Bus Usage Guide

Seoul buses are categorized by color. At first it may seem complicated, but it becomes convenient once you understand the system. Bus Color Categories: Blue Bus (Main Line): Quickly connects major sections within the city. Most frequently used. Green Bus (Branch Line): Connects every corner within local areas. Connected with subway stations. Red Bus (Express): Connects Seoul to Gyeonggi metropolitan area. Seat reservation system. Yellow Bus (Circular): Circulates short sections within the city. How to Board: Board through the front door → Touch your transportation card to the card reader → When getting off, exit through the back door while touching your card again (transfer fare applied). Stop Bell: Press the button when approaching your stop. If you don’t press it, the bus may pass by. Bus Number
