삼척 황선굴 수중동굴탐험

Hwanseon Cave near Samcheok is the largest limestone cave open to visitors in Asia by some measures, but almost no international tourists make the 30km inland drive from the coast. The interior is genuinely cathedral-scaled — the main chamber ceiling reaches 30 meters — and an underground stream runs through sections you can actually wade. The cave maintains a steady 9°C year-round, making it a summer escape used mainly by Korean families from nearby cities. The road up passes through traditional tobacco-farming villages that still dry leaves on wooden frames the same way they did 60 years ago.
