Bucheon Webtoon Street and Animation Museum

Korea animation industry capital celebrates its industry with a Webtoon Street of bronze statues depicting famous characters from Korean web comics. The Bucheon Animation Museum traces the history of Korean animation from early 1960s state films to the global Webtoon platform phenomenon. The city hosts the Bucheon International Comics Festival each August. The street is most visited by young Koreans who recognize the characters.
