Cheongpyeong Lake Suspension Bridge Day Trip (청평호 출렁다리 당일치기)
The suspension footbridge over Cheongpyeong Lake in Gapyeong-gun provides a pedestrian crossing of the lake reservoir with elevated views over the water and the surrounding Gyeonggi mountain landscape. The bridge is accessible as a day trip from Seoul — about one hour by train from Cheongnyangni station. The lake circuit includes several cafe and pension operations that have developed around the visitor traffic. In autumn, the surrounding hills turn and the reflection on the lake surface is one of the more photographed seasonal landscapes in the greater Seoul region. The Gapyeong riverside area below the lake connects to the cycling routes toward the Northern Han River trail.
