Dongdaemun Design Plaza (동대문디자인플라자)

📍 Eulji-ro 281, Jung-gu, Seoul

Zaha Hadid's most dramatic built work in Korea — a flowing silver structure that looks like it landed from somewhere else entirely. DDP hosts fashion weeks, design exhibitions, and large-scale art installations year-round. The curved exterior walls are best seen after dark when they're lit from below. The ground-level Dongdaemun History Museum underneath preserves excavated city wall sections from the Joseon period.
