A beach in Gangneung that sparked the Korean specialty coffee culture revolution when Terarosa opened a flagship roastery here in 2002. The beach is now lined with independent specialty roasteries, each with ocean views. Korean barista culture traces its origin to the Gangneung coffee street. The beach itself is undistinguished but the combination of surf sound and specialty coffee is specific to this place.
