A planned green spine running through the centre of Mokdong's 1980s new town development, connecting several park zones via a landscaped canal corridor. The canal — artificial but naturalistic in appearance — runs for 1.2km between the lake park and the sports complex, lined with willows and stone paths. Quieter than the Han River parks and almost entirely frequented by local residents. The adjacent Mokdong Lake Park has paddle boats and a rose garden. The whole circuit, including the lakeside and canal walk, takes about an hour. Best visited in spring when the cherry trees along the canal are in bloom.
