Seodaemun Prison History Hall

A preserved Japanese-era prison (1908–1987) where Korean independence activists were incarcerated, now one of Seoul's most powerful historical museums. The outdoor grounds include intact watchtowers and cells; indoor exhibitions have strong English signage throughout. Admission is ₩3,000 for adults. Located at Dongnimmun Station Exit 5.
