A small residential neighbourhood in eastern Jungnang-gu known for the persimmon trees that line its back lanes — a remnant of when the area was agricultural land on the outskirts of Seoul before the city expanded to absorb it. In late October, the orange fruit hangs from bare branches above the rooftops in clusters dense enough to be visible from the main road. The village has resisted full demolition despite redevelopment pressure; several old tile-roofed houses survive between the newer buildings. The Jungnang Art Center's persimmon road nearby extends the autumn foliage circuit into a half-day walk.
