Seoul's answer to Silicon Valley — the 4km boulevard running from Gangnam station to COEX is the spine of Korea's startup and tech industry. Kakao, Krafton, Krafton, Naver Finance, and hundreds of VC firms operate from the glass towers lining this road. The street has little tourist value on its surface, but the basement restaurant scene under these buildings is exceptional: packed at lunch with tech workers eating everything from omakase sushi to regional Korean home cooking. The density of co-working cafés is the highest in Seoul. Worth walking at night when the tower lobbies and rooftop terraces come into their own.
