Yongin Cheoin-gu Farmland Strawberry Picking Spring

The agricultural fringe of Yongin City south of the urban core retains working strawberry farms that offer U-pick experiences from December through May. The greenhouse strawberry culture here predates the trend and the farms are family-run with techniques refined over two generations. Day trips from Seoul are a February tradition for families. The adjacent Dochon area has traditional doenjang (fermented soybean paste) producers.
