Built as a production set for MBC's historical dramas and still actively used for filming, this open-air park preserves full-scale reconstructions of Joseon-era palace halls, market streets, and residential quarters. It lacks the polish of a conventional tourist site precisely because it is a working film location first — you may arrive to find camera crews blocking a courtyard, or find a set dressed for a scene that hasn't aired yet. The experience sits between museum and behind-the-scenes tour. Korean drama fans will recognize specific buildings from dozens of productions. The site is remote enough that tour buses rarely visit, and on quiet weekday mornings it genuinely feels like a Joseon street rather than a theme park.
