Andong Hahoe Village UNESCO Mask Dance Festival

📍 Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do

A traditional clan village whose layout has remained unchanged since the 14th century, sitting in a dramatic meander of the Nakdong River. The International Mask Dance Festival each October brings performers from 20 countries. The resident Ryu family clan still lives in the original tile-roof homes. A ferry crosses the river to a hilltop pavilion with the most famous view of Korean traditional village planning.
