Dodamsambong is a natural rock formation of three limestone peaks rising from the Namhangang River in Danyang, Chungcheongbuk-do, set against the karst limestone mountains that define the regional landscape. The formation was celebrated by Joseon scholars including Jeong Do-jeon and has been a subject of Korean landscape painting for centuries. The surrounding Danyang area holds the highest concentration of limestone cave systems in Korea — Gosudonggul, Cheondongul, and the Ondal cave complex are all accessible within 30 minutes. The river cruise from Janghoe-naru passes Dodamsambong at water level; the road bridge above gives the overview perspective.
