Donghae Mukho Port Squid Night Market (동해 묵호항 오징어 야시장)
Mukho Port in Donghae is the primary squid landing harbour on the Gangwon-do East Sea coast, and the hillside neighbourhood above the port — Mukho Lighthouse Alley — has been transformed from a fishing community into a walkable heritage area with seafood restaurants, independent cafes, and the original lighthouse at the ridge. The night squid market at the harbour below runs from dusk and the grilled squid served at the outdoor stalls is from the day's catch at prices that reflect the harbour rather than the Seoul restaurant equivalent. The Mukho Port jetty gives views over the harbour at night with the lit squid fishing boats visible offshore.
