Misari Rowing Course in Hanam was built for the 1988 Seoul Olympics as the Olympic rowing and canoe venue and remains the primary competitive rowing facility in Korea. The 2.2-kilometre course on the Hangang River is open for recreational use by local residents on non-competition days. The surrounding Misari Recreational Forest and the riverside cafes along the Han River bank at this point give the area a relaxed character that the more developed Banpo and Ttukseom sections of the Seoul Han River Park lack. The Han River cycling path connecting Hanam to the Seoul city sections passes through Misari.
