Gapyeong Nami Island Seasonal Tree Avenues

📍 Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do

A small river island in Gyeonggi Province that became internationally famous after a Korean TV drama filmed here in 2002. The island is car-free and accessed by ferry. Four tree avenues change dramatically by season: cherry blossoms in spring, dense canopy in summer, red maple in autumn, snow-laden branches in winter. The metasequoia avenue is the most photographed. Independent cafes and galleries fill the former farm buildings.
