Inje Narincheon Rafting River (인제 내린천 래프팅)
The Narincheon river in Inje County is the primary whitewater rafting destination for the Seoul metropolitan area — the combination of accessible rapids, clean mountain water, and the Inje valley landscape makes it the closest genuine rafting experience to the capital. Commercial operators run full-day and half-day routes from late spring through early autumn; the upper section near Bangdong-ri provides the most technical rapids while the lower section toward the confluence is more suitable for beginners. The surrounding valley is also used for camping and the river is clean enough for swimming at the calmer sections. Transport from Seoul to Inje takes about two and a half hours by express bus.
