The coastal walk along the Songdo seafront in Seo-gu connects Songdo Beach to the Amnam Park cliffs via a suspended cable walkway that crosses above the sea surface at points. The original Songdo Beach was Korea's first public beach, opened in 1913; the surrounding cliffs and the cable pathway above them have been developed as a pedestrian circuit that gives continuous sea-level views along the cliff face. The Amnam Park section at the western end provides forest walking above the cliffs with views across the Busan harbor entrance. The circuit is at its best in the late afternoon when the light comes in from the west.
