Changuimun — the smaller northwestern gate of Seoul's historic city wall — sits at the point where the Bugaksan ridge meets the residential streets of Buam-dong. The gate itself is the least-visited of Seoul's four small gates; the surrounding city wall trail offers elevated views over the Bugak ridge and north toward Eunpyeong. The dusk light on the stone wall and the city below is particularly strong in autumn. The trail connects directly south to the Cheong Wa Dae grounds and north toward the Bugaksan summit. Almost entirely free of tourist activity outside the cherry blossom season.
