Odaesan National Park Woljeongsa Fir Avenue Temple

📍 Odaesan, Gangwon-do

A 1km avenue of ancient silver fir trees leading to Woljeongsa Temple in the heart of Gangwon Mountains creates a cathedral-like approach unlike any other temple in Korea. The fir trees are 500-year-old giants with silver bark and dense canopy. The temple at the end holds a renowned Dharma library. The surrounding Odaesan National Park is less visited than Seoraksan but equally beautiful.
